The Wyoming Waves is a not-for-profit corporation with a 501(c)3 charitable status. USA Swimming is a not-for-profit organization that serves as the National Governing Body for competitive swimming in the United States and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee; its headquarters is located at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. As a member of USA Swimming, the Waves offers a year-round competitive program for swimmers of every ability.

Our Head Coach Jamie Winkler promotes a full-time, high-quality swim program in an atmosphere of spirited competition with superior sportsmanship. Moreover, it is our mission to inspire and enable our swimmers to achieve excellence in academics by providing opportunities to enhance reading, math, and science skills through our program. For the past 12 years, Coach Jamie has been directly involved with competitive swimming. The Waves competed as the Wyoming Waves for the first time during the 2002 season. Coach Jamie achieved tremendous success. In the 2003-2004 season, the Waves regularly attended meets in the Tri-State area (Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska) with 90% of its swimmers qualifying for “A” State Championships and a remarkable 70% for elite competitions regionally (Northwest Age Group competitions). The Waves holds 42 Individual State Titles, 4 State Highpoint Champions, and 44 State Records.

To continue our growth and commitment to excellence in swimming we need corporate and individual sponsorships to defer expenses such as equipment, certifications, registration and association fees, officials’ fees, travel expenses to elite competitions, and scholarships. Accordingly, we have established these sponsorship levels to include:

SHARKS - $1000.00+: A Plaque of Appreciation, a team t-shirt, a team photo, your name and/or logo (one color) on a large banner to be displayed at all swim meets to help promote your business and enable people to know of your support of swimmers in our community, a sponsorship link on our website, and recognition as a sponsor in all our meet programs.

BARRACUDAS - $500+: A Certificate of Appreciation, a team t-shirt, a team photo, your name and/or logo (one color) on a large banner to be displayed at all swim meets to help promote your business and enable people to know of your support of swimmers in our community, a sponsorship link on our website, and recognition as a sponsor in all our meet programs.

LIONFISH - $250+: A Certificate of Appreciation, a framed photo of team, sponsorship link on our website, and recognition as a sponsor in all our meet programs.

ANGELFISH - $100+: A Certificate of Appreciation and recognition as a sponsor in all our swim meet programs.
